I had an amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect, just outside the bustling town, in the direction of the beach. It made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The service was top-notch, from the room service to the housekeeping. They even provided a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a delightful touch. The room amenities were outstanding, with a cozy sitting area, terrace, and a dining table. The hotel also offered a wide range of facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and beach access. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

what i particularly like is that the hotel is a very dynamic hotel and is constantly developing. main restaurant is completely modernized and rebuilt. tasteful with different areas. from the bar, to lounge areas, to the tables where the food can be taken. it has a relaxed atmosphere. next point of change is the apartment rooms. light wood. open room concept. straightforward furniture, meaningful details in the kitchen. shared bathroom is very tasteful. floor-to-ceiling shower is great. so a walk-in shower. you can also see that the breakfast area is being converted. all around the hotel is never at a standstill. especially to praise are the employees iris and rowie, their competent, always friendly manner makes the stay a real pleasure.

changes would still have to be made in the rooms, additional shelves or hooks for jackets.

we were the third time since 2011 in west cord on ameland. location and proximity to the beach and friendly staff are highly recommended. restaurant/food was very good.

unfortunately one has the impression that the west cord hotel (4 stars! does not invest in renovation. on the corridor many stains on the wall. in the bathroom mould on the ceiling, in the room strong stains on the carpet, damage on the door front, only 1x rough cleaning (among others towels with holes). window surfaces have not been cleaned for a long time. sauna without temperature display, only an hourglass, no water or fruit, no relaxation room, that for 8 euro entrance fee. rented bicycles with defects. we were there over easter and unfortunately no menu was distributed on the manageable easter brunch and some easter decoration in the breakfast room or on the table would have been nice.

The hotel was well maintained, perfect for families, with a nice playground and green space. The family suite was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location was great, central to everything with helpful staff and excellent restaurant.

The staff was friendly and location was good. Even the Groningen Eelde airport was not so far.

The location close to the centre in the village of Nes was great, with tons of bikes just outside the hotel in the direction of the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The parking was convenient. The hotel facilities were outstanding, including a beautiful pool, playground, and well-equipped apartments.

The hotel is conveniently located near the vibrant Nes centre, where guests can find various restaurants, shops and hundreds of bikes to rent and explore the island. the hotel is near the beach, giving guests a chance to enjoy the stunning views of the sea. the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean, and modern. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, who provide gluten-free options for breakfast, and the well-maintained pool area.

Some guests may find the extra costs for certain amenities and services, such as the sauna and New Year's Eve party package, to be overpriced compared to what was offered.

The hotel restaurant is very good for both the breakfast and the evening meal. Location is good for cycle routes and walking distance to the beach. Rooms were large and comfortable.

When I checked out, the price I had to pay was more than 20% higher than the price I had obtained when booking through Booked.net. I discovered this in time (which involved a little calculation with exchange rates) and the mistake was corrected immediately. Still, things like this shouldn't happen, and I don't know how difficult it would have been to get the money refunded. I do suppose this was just a mistake.

We recently had a pleasant weekend in a hotel located a short walk from the beach and the town center. The breakfast was really good, and the staff was charming and welcoming. We also enjoyed the bikes for rent and the free use of the outdoor pool.

We found the pool water temperature too cold, and the room cleaning services not up to standard. The cleaning staff arrived late in the day, and the room was only superficially cleaned.

We wished the swimming pool would be open at 7:00 in stead of at 9:00; thus allowing a quick swim before breakfast.
